I left my job in November 2019 to start business. In February 2020, Corona virus pandemic hit hard and we went in lockdown.
I am now surviving on my parents income. Being 28, I feel guilty. But that doesn’t stop me from hustling for my dream.
I firmly believe that money can be made by selling something. That’s what millionaires and billionaire do, right? What’s better than selling digital products and concepts? But for that you need a large audience a.k.a. followers.
Let’s assume you upload the content daily on Instagram and you have grown to 5,000 followers in 3 months. Out of these 5,000, 25 followers are your true fans.
You open an account on Clickbank, copy the link of your niche and paste it in the bio. But what will drive the followers to the link? Here’s the copywriting skill kicks in!
Copywriting steps:
1. Headline: Your headline must grab the attention. Make it big in form of sentence. You don’t have to reveal pricing and all the benefits in the headline. Being it with words like How, What, Where, Are you, Benefits of…, 7 types of, etc.
2. Emotional appeal: This will be 2nd paragraph. Readers want the article to resonate with them properly. Certain appeals are; job loss, early retirement, popularity, health, freedom from job, physical looks, social security etc.
3. Images: If it a physical product, then show photos of how it works. People remember a message from image more than a text message.
4. Testimonials: Share the photos and feedbacks from the users. People go for tried and tested models, rather than innovative and new product in the markets, unless you are from the USA. If written content is the flesh, then bone is the proof of usage.
Remember, that people want to justify the reason of buying. A decision is made emotionally by the heart but if someone asks why you purchase something, then our brain gives us a justification for buying.
