I dreaded waking up early in the morning when I had to go to job. I would wake up at 6am, get ready, and I would catch the train for job at 7:30am. I woke up early because of necessity and not for a heathy life.
Now, i’m back to my hometown. Its been 8 months, and i’m trying to setup my business (financed by parents). I am a changed person since then. Initially I made a habit to read daily for 30 mins, study german on Duolingo for 30 mins, and blog for 60 mins. However, my schedule was not based on time. I would do these activities during any time of the day.
As my work outside home began to increase, I started skipping those 3 activities. That made me feel like a loser. Why can’t I keep my priorities and be consistent on them? That’s when I realized the value of time. Your time is limited, use it productively. I started waking at 6am without alarm clock.
I understood that if I wake early and read for 30 mins, study German for 30 mins, then i’m using 1 hour productively rather than sleeping. I’ll blog before going to sleep at night. That made me control my monkey mind, and improved my focus. I’ve become confident on my abilities.
I’ll add learning Google SEO techniques to my schedule for 30 mins. As you know how compound effect works, i’ll get the results after 1 year. I’ll try to wake up earlier than 6am.
